Mothers' Day Tag Menu
Let's have fun! Kristen from Frugal Antics of a Frustrated Housewife tagged me to share a Mothers' Day Menu. When you are done her, stop by her place and check out her menu. You will find some edible delights. At the end of my list, I will pass this on to ten other foodies. If you can't do it, at this time, I will suggest what Kristen suggested, use it for Father's Day, if possible.
Now, what will I serve?
Let's start with Mini Cornbread Puddings
Desserts
Cherry Baby Bundts
Apple Strawberry Crisp Delicious, trust me.
Pavlova - I must make this again soon.
Mile High Chocolate Pie
I know, I am heavy on dessert but this is my Mothers' Day Brunch. I love salads even though they are not here.
Now, I turn this over to you. The recipes must already be on your blogs. You should list between 5 and 10.

Ooh, I'm excited to go along! I even know what I'll serve because I've tried several of my posts out on my mother!
ReplyDeleteOoh, thanks for the tag. I'll have to think about it. Good thing there's a bit of time before Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteI LOL'ed at my mention. You must be from downstate. Only a Long Islander would read stick and think bat. ;-) WD would be horrified, though. He often wears a shirt that melds the math geek in him with the aggressive ball player. It reads {pic of crossed lacrosse sticks} > {pic of baseball}. Lacrosse is greater than baseball.
Your menu looks fantastic. I love Pavlovas and haven't made them in a while, so those are a must make soon. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Dear, for thinking I could make up a nice menu, etc. But though I love, love, love to find your G/F recipes, I'm not that much into menu making and cooking, myself.
ReplyDeleteNever was. And since husband is mostly retired, he does the cooking. Because he always liked to and I did not. Purrrrrrrfect. :-) But yes, I do bake some.
~♥~
Thanks for tagging me! These scones would have to be on the mother's day menu: http://www.healthyeatingforordinarypeople.com/2011/03/baking-with-dorie-honey-nut-scones.html.
ReplyDeleteScones for breakfast are bound to bring a smile to any mom's face!
Looks like a lovely menu. Everything looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to play along. Your menu sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Thanks for the tag! Glad I have some time to put something together. Hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteYour menu looks brilliant! Go ahead and BE heavy on the desserts. That's what holidays are for :)
Your menu looks lovey, sure I will try to put on this Monday.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Chaya, for your lovely words! Sorry I'm a little late, but I'm excited to play along!
ReplyDeleteSorry I am late; been a busy house the past week. I will get on this as soon as possible. Thank you for the invite.
