Baking with Bizzy 4

I have baked a number of items since our last Baking with Bizzy.  I had a double header failure, earlier this week.  I wrote about my chocolate chip cake expanding way over the pan.  I also had an apricot almond cake fall apart and I am not at all sure why.

I had difficulty getting it out of the bundt pan and to my chagrin, it came out in the form of large clumps of crumbs.  Since, it was gluten-free, it was for my hubby who smilingly is eating it, just like I am eating the chocolate chip coffee cake.

That is the best photo, I could get, showing the least amount of piles of cake crumbs.  As soon as I touched this piece, it crumbled into many pieces.

You did better than I did.  Last week, we had a number of chocolate chip of candy filled cookies.  I am not alone in my search for the best chocolate chipper.

We also had some other goodies such as:

Gloria of Canela's Kitchen's double chocolate cupcakes.

Kristin of Holy Cannoli made these creative pizza puffs.

Beurrista gave us these fabulous bar cookies.          I can't wait to see what you have to share with us this week.  You are all an inspiration to me.  Thanks.

  1. I am only laughing a little bit, heehee... years ago when my son was turning 10 I made him a cake for his birthday, icing held the cake together. I felt so bad, he hugged me said it was the best birthday cake ever!
    Take care,
    Lisa
