Menu Plan Monday
For Menu plan Monday -this is, "Tear it Out of the Magazine" week. The words say it all. As the week progressed, I tore out recipes that sounded like, "us" and this week, I want to make these. Most of them come from Food Network Magazine and a few from Eating Well. There are so many good recipes that these magazines bring to the door and at times, they are completely ignored.
For me, it is a treat to sit down with a cup of coffee and a recent magazine and absorb the knowledge and be tempted by the beautiful dishes.
How many times do I pass by a recipe to find the next month or so, many people are praising it to the sky? I am working on doing it right and this is a week to pull it off. Chances are at least one additional soup is going to find its way to our table now that the weather is cold.
Sunday - Family dinner out
Monday - Parmesan Herb Cauliflower with Ginger Salmon
Tuesday - Broccoli Lo Mein with Green Salad
Wednesday - Roasted Veggie and Ricotta Pizza
Thursday - Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
Friday - Curried Chicken, Roasted Potatoes and Zucchini kugel
Saturday - Chulent
